Kat Koppett is the President and eponymous founder of Koppett & Company, a training and consulting company. She holds a B.F.A. in Drama from New York University and an M.A. in Organizational Psychology from Columbia University. Her book Training to Imagine: Practical Improvisational Theatre Techniques to Enhance Creativity,Teamwork, Leadership, and Learning, is considered a seminal work in the field of Applied Improvisation and is used by professionals around the world. In 2019, Kat was awarded NASAGA’s Ifill-Raynolds Lifetime Achievement Award for her work furthering experiential learning. She is a the co-director of the Mopco Improv Theatre, a founding member of the Applied Improvisation Network and the host of the podcast “Performance Shift: The Art of Successfully Navigating Change”.

Therese operates her own consultancy, Therese Miclot, LLC, and brings two decades of experience in developing individuals into competent and compassionate leaders. With insights drawn from exposure to the most intricate leadership challenges, she is deeply aligned with the landscape of modern business. She has a keen understanding of what is required to drive leadership performance. Known for her deep listening skills, she tailors her approach to her clients’ needs and challenges.
Additionally, she serves as the Director of Facilitation Excellence at Proteus International, where she’s a driving force in equipping leaders with everyday facilitation skills. Her track record spans tech, manufacturing, banking, media and retail including Meta, New York Stock Exchange, Madison Square Garden, FanDuel, Flutter, Citi, BNY Mellon, and Rockwell Automation.
With a master’s degree in Industrial/Organizational Psychology, she brings a disciplined approach to leadership development, while finding joy in creating practical and simple solutions to clients’ needs.
